It takes the supplied water through a sediment filter for the removal of suspended solids. The water is then passed through a granular activated filter and block activated filter for removal of chlorine from the water. The water is then passed through the reverse osmosis membrane under pressure from a small pump for the removal of dissolved salts from the water.
The last stage is a UV lamp that sterilizes the water. The unit comes with a pressure tank for storage of the treated water.
